Read Across America Week March 2nd-March 6

Read Across America Week used to just be a day of celebration for Dr. Seuss' birthday, but now with the help of the National Education Association it has expanded to an entire week of reading fun.  Students learn about different authors, cultures, and diverse topics to increase their love of reading.  To engage them with texts they may be familiar with we will use classic Dr. Seuss books:

Monday- Cat in the Hat day (wear a hat with uniform)

Tuesday- Green Eggs and Ham- Wear Green

Wednesday- Wacky Wednesday- Crazy Hair with uniform

Thursday- Fox and Socks Day- Wear Crazy Socks with your uniform

Friday- Oh the Places You'll Go- Wear a college shirt with uniform pants

**There will also be a fun reading challenge where students can participate in different activities and earn fun prizes! Dr. Seuss Reading Challenge
